Hello, I'm Jo
I'm an independent celebrant based in Worsley, Manchester, although I'm always happy to travel wherever your story takes me.
My role gives me the privilege of telling people's stories at some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Every ceremony I create is personal, heartfelt and completely unique.
Your ceremony should feel like you — reflecting your personality, your journey, your humour and the moments that matter most. Whether I'm creating a joyful wedding ceremony or a dignified farewell, I take the time to truly listen and understand what makes your story special.

For the couples I work with, I create a bespoke wedding ceremony that reflects your relationship, your journey and the promises you are making. A ceremony crafted around your history and the life you're building together. Whether your plans are traditional, relaxed, unique or modern, they will be compiled with warmth, care and attention to detail.
Funerals & Memorials
It is never easy to say goodbye. My role is to work with sensitivity and compassion to honour a life in a way that feels meaningful and true to the person you have lost. Together we'll create a ceremony that celebrates memories, acknowledges your loss and brings comfort, whilst delivering a respectful service which is authentic and dignified.

My Story
A Little About Me
Before becoming a celebrant, my career was always centred around people and community. Working closely with individuals and families has shaped the way I approach every ceremony I create.
I genuinely care about the people I work with and the stories they entrust me to tell.
Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural progression — a way to support people through some of life's most meaningful and memorable moments.
At the heart of my work is storytelling. Whether we gather for a wedding or a funeral, we are sharing a story. Stories connect us. They remind us who we are, where we've been, and what truly matters.
My role is to gently uncover the moments, memories and milestones that make your story unique, and to tell it with warmth, sensitivity and professionalism.
